A guard at Central Prison in Raleigh was charged by Wake Forest police with getting a bank card in another woman's name and using it to get $1,600 from the woman's account.

Police arrested Anise Monique Taylor, 23, of 848 N. Taylor St. in Wake Forest at her home Wednesday morning.

An arrest warrant charged her with felony financial card fraud and said she “knew that the card was obtained by fraudulent application.”

The money began to be taken out of ATM’s on April 10.

Taylor began working at the prison in October 2012 and is paid $31,126 a year, state Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Pamela Walker said.

Whether the department takes action because of the arrest or what that would be is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and depends on several factors, including the outcome of the criminal charge, Walker said.
