Person hit in the head with a brick on NC State campus after midnight Thursday

UNC Police received that a male subject assaulted a female student Sunday evening at the intersection of Raleigh Road and South Road before chasing the student toward the Frank Porter Graham Student Union.  FILE IMAGE

Campus police are searching for a man who struck a person in the head with a brick at approximately 12:49 a.m. Thursday at N.C. State University.

The assault occurred on a walkway between Dan Allen Drive and the University Towers student housing complex.

The university issued a Wolfpack Alert at 2:28 a.m. Thursday asking anyone with information to contact University Police at 919-515-3000.
