Woman killed in double stabbing in Wake Forest, sheriff’s department says

Two adults were stabbed in Wake Forest on Tuesday morning.

One adult was killed and another was injured in a double stabbing in Wake Forest, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man and a woman were stabbed near the 8800 block of Ligon Mill Road. Both people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Just after 4 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office announced that the woman had died from her injuries.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as Hue Thi Lu’o’ng. She was 58.

The man’s identity has not been released, and he remains in the hospital with serious injuries as of Wednesday afternoon.

Wake County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Rosalia Fodera said this is currently being investigated as a domestic dispute. She did not give details on the relationship of the man and woman.

No charges have been filed at this time.
