Raleigh police announced a second arrest Friday in a shooting that left one person dead late last month.

At 12:19 a.m. Nov. 25, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1500 block of Poole Road, where a man later identified as 32-year-old Lewis Crowder was suffering from a gunshot wound.

Crowder was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said in a news release.

On Nov. 27 police said they had arrested Garry Gibbs, 46, and charged him with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

On Dec. 1, they announced they have also arrested Bilal McGriff, 42, who is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and possession of a firearm by a Felon.

They released no possible motive for the shooting or any other details.
