Durham police identify man found shot to death along Durham street

Durham police have identified a man found fatally shot last weekend as 47-year-old Jaime Rolando Ramos of Durham.

A driver called 911 at 12:36 a.m. Sunday to report a person lying along the road in the 2500 block of Wrightwood Avenue, according to a Durham Police Department news release.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police said they don’t know where the man was shot or the circumstances of the shooting.
