A Raleigh man was arrested Wednesday on a charge of murder in a shooting at a downtown parking garage.

Solomon Elijah Campbell, 20, is accused of shooting Damien Devon Smith, 45, at the parking deck at 117 S. Wilmington St. about 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, police said. Smith was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

Campbell was being held at the Wake County jail Wednesday without bail.
