17-year-old arrested in fellow teen’s shooting death in Durham
A 17-year-old male has been arrested in a Durham shooting that left another teen dead and an adult wounded, Durham police said.
The shooting occurred about 8:30 p.m. May 9 in the 1200 block of Dayton Street, police said. The victims, both males, were taken to a hospital, where the juvenile died of his injuries.
Police confirmed Friday they’d arrested a suspect in the incident. Officials have previously said the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident but provided no other details.
