A Raleigh high school student was arrested Monday on multiple felony charges after allegedly filming inappropriate videos of teachers.

Jaden Isiah Tyler Pompey, 18, is charged with 14 counts of felony secret peeping, court records show. He also faces a charge of misdemeanor secret peeping, but he had already been arrested on that charge March 2.

Pompey is accused of using his cellphone to film up the skirts of at least two different teachers at Wakefield High School in Raleigh at least four times between Feb. 12 and Feb. 27, according to arrest warrants. His misdemeanor charge stems from a March 2 incident when he allegedly filmed one of the teachers’ classrooms without her knowledge.

Pompey originally posted $5,000 secured bond on the misdemeanor charlge but is being held without bail after being arrested Monday on the felony charges, court records show. If he posts bail, he wil be forbidden from contacting any of the victims or going to Wakefield High School or any Wake County Public School System properties.

A LinkedIn profile appearing to belong to Pompey lists him as a member of the class of 2026 at the school. It wasn’t immediately clear Monday morning if he was still enrolled at the high school.

The Raleigh Police Department and the Wake County Public Schools System could not be reached for comment by press time.
