Suspect arrested after Wake County stabbing leaves man seriously injured
Wake County deputies have arrested a man they say is responsible for a stabbing in the eastern part of the county that left one person seriously injured.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6300 block of Old Mill Farm Drive in Wendell just after 10 a.m. Wednesday and found the injured man, who was taken to a local hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office alerted residents in the area of Robertson Pond Road and Edgemont Road, urging them not to approach the man if they saw him and to call 911.
The Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest a short time later but as of 12:30 p.m. had not yet released the suspect’s name. Deputies are still working to learn the circumstances surrounding the incident.
