Apex man held on child-porn, indecent liberties charges

A 23-year-old man was arrested at his home Tuesday on charges of duplicating pornographic videos of boys and taking indecent liberties with a youth last summer.

Arrest warrants accused Angel Uriel Guerrero of 1003 Gilby Road of 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

The exploitation charges alleged that Guerrero had duplicated computer files involving preteen boys, some estimated by police to be as young as 3-5 years old.

The indecent liberties charges said the incident happened between June 1 and Dec. 4.

Guerrero was held on $500,000 after the morning arrest and was slated to appear before a judge Wednesday.
