Durham police say second of three murder suspects nabbed

DURHAM A federal fugitive task force on Wednesday arrested a second man who is charged in an April 4 homicide at a University Drive apartment building.

Dominique Laron Percell, 20, was found on Old Well Street, police said in a statement. A Durham County grand jury had indicted him on charges of murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit both of those crimes.

Percell is accused in the shooting death of Spencer Garrett Harrison, 21. Police are seeking a third suspect, 21-year-old Anthony Terry.

Nathaniel Antonio Nelson, 26, was arrested by detectives 10 days after Terry’s slaying at the apartment building in the 4800 block of the street.

Percell, who also was charged with nine counts of ignoring court dates on previous charges, was being held without bail at the Durham County Detention Center.
