Wake man arrested on child rape charge from 2013

A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday morning on a charge of first-degree child rape listed in a 2013 arrest warrant obtained by Wake County sheriff's deputies.

Saul Antonio Flores-Palacios, whose address in arrest records is 905 Mailwood Drive, also was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.

Records show the charges date to February 2013. The rape charge requires that the child have been under 13 years old.

Flores-Palacio also was charged this year with driving while impaired and driving without a license.

Flores-Palacio was being held on $550,500 bail on all four charges and was to have a first court appearance Monday.
