Woman was chained to ceiling, then Tased and struck with pool cue, Kentucky police say
A Kentucky man was arrested Wednesday after consensual sex with a woman turned violent, according to Louisville police.
Violent acts by Brandon McQuillen, 38, left a woman with bruising and swelling across her body, the Louisville Metro Police Department wrote in a citation.
McQuillen, of Louisville, was having sex with a woman May 10 when she told him she no longer wanted to participate, police said. McQuillen had a padlock around her neck and she was chained to the ceiling, according to the arrest citation.
While the woman was chained, McQuillen allegedly Tased her several times in the abdomen, police said. He is also accused of striking her several times on her side with a pool cue and punching her in the face several times, according to police.
The woman begged McQuillen to let her go, but she was allegedly detained by him for 12 hours, police wrote in an arrest citation. The man’s former roommate contacted police and McQuillen fled before officers arrived, police said.
Both of the woman’s eyes were black with swelling and bruising to her face, according to police. She also had bruising and swelling to her side and hip, police said.
McQuillen was arrested three days later and charged with kidnapping and second-degree assault, court records show.
He previously served jail time after being found guilty of fourth-degree assault in 2018, according to records. An arrest citation from his 2018 arrest states McQuillen tackled and punched his father following a verbal argument.
