Another 138 tons of frozen food recalled after customers found rocks in the entrees
The not-food-in-your-food recall of Healthy Choice Power Bowls that might have small rocks in them has been expanded by 276,872 pounds and two more Power Bowl varieties.
Joining the Chicken, Feta & Farro recalled in April are more Chicken, Feta & Farro bowls; Unwrapped Burrito Scramble and Turkey Sausage & Egg White Scramble. All varieties were distributed across the United States and Canada. The USDA announced Conagra Brands’ recall broadening in a Friday night release.
The release says Conagra “received additional consumer complaints about rocks being in the products and the firm then notified (USDA-Food Safety Inspection Service) of the issue.”
