The dog found herself trapped underneath the deck of her owner’s home Nov. 23 in Davenport, video shows. Buddy was crying as she was stuck for nearly an hour, according to Storyful.

Video shows firefighters remove a deck board, then look through the opening for the tiny pup. Soon, Buddy peeked her head through the gap and a firefighter pulled her up.

“Please enjoy a video of one lucky dog who was thankful to meet Davenport Firefighters after having a ruff time outside,” the Davenport Fire Department said in a Facebook post.

The dog’s owner was “supper appreciative” of the rescue of Buddy, a poodle-pug mix, according to WQAD.
