Home posing as castle lists for $1.6M in California. Zillow Gone Wild has thoughts
A home that gives a very “castle-like” vibe has hit the real estate market in Laguna Niguel, California for $1.6 million.
The 2,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home was “Italy inspired,” according to the listing on Zillow, and is within three miles of the beach.
Features include:
Huge primary suite with balcony
Gourmet kitchen
Open floor plan
Custom staircase
Pool and spa
Fruit trees
But not everyone is impressed.
While there were some fans of the unique property, others took the house’s comment section in its post on the popular social media page Zillow Gone Wild to ask the hard questions.
“Which room has the mirror that’s always talking about how fine-looking Snow White is?” one person asked.
“I’d put up with the mini castle turret entrance thing in order to have the pool and the location,” another said. “For $1.6 million, I don’t care if it is haunted. Actually, no...I’d prefer if it was haunted.”
“Wow it’s not even that that big but it feels like a mansion,” one person observed. “Great home.”
“Champagne taste and a beer budget,” another said. “The pool is nice though.”
“My 5 y/o loves this because it ‘looks like Rapunzel’.”
“Its kind of an ordinary pound cake with a whole lotta frosting,” someone joked. “Nothing special but the pool.”
“Beautiful,” another said. “Little to much neutral color for me.”
“Somebody won the best sandcastle award,” one person joked.
Laguna Niguel is in Orange County, about 60 miles south of Los Angeles.
