Amy Schneider, who has collected more than $918,000 as her “Jeopardy!” win streak continues, reports that she was robbed at gunpoint in Oakland, California.

“Hi all! So, first off: I’m fine,” Schneider wrote Monday, Jan. 3, on Twitter. “But I got robbed yesterday, lost my ID, credit cards, and phone. I then couldn’t really sleep last night, and have been dragging myself around all day trying to replace everything.”

In a subsequent post, Schneider apologized to fans for not posting her customary post-show recap Monday night.

Oakland police told The Washington Post, who inquired about Schneider’s report, that two people, one of them armed, robbed someone at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, in a neighborhood near downtown. Police declined to identify the victim. No arrests have been made.

Schenider, an engineering manager from Oakland, has won 25 straight games on “Jeopardy! as of Jan. 4, a mark only three other contestants have reached on the show, McClatchy News reported.

When she won her fifth consecutive game, Schneider became the first transgender person to qualify for the show’s annual Tournament of Champions, McClatchy News reported. As her streak continued, she surpassed Julia Collins for the most consecutive wins and most money won by a woman on the show.
