Secret hidden inside this barn for sale in Pennsylvania raises a lot of questions
A unique residence listed for $200,000 in Drums, Pennsylvania, is raising a lot of eyebrows on a popular real estate social media page.
You see, the barn, which can be seen on the outside, has a “hidden” secret: An entire two-bedroom, two-bathroom house.
That’s right, a house is literally inside the barn.
The interior of the home looks like your basic house complete with an eat-in kitchen, living room and den. The barn even has a 5-stall garage “with an additional 1,500-square-foot” of recreational space that would “perfectly fit” someone with a car collection, the listing on Realtor.com says.
The residence’s listing was featured on Zillow Gone Wild, a page on Facebook where fans voice their opinions on quirky homes listed around the country. And this peculiar property left some people a tad confused.
“Oh yes, the ol’ house inside the barn routine,” one person joked. “So like…does that make the residents livestock or…?”
“’Why yes, I was brought up in a barn. Why do you ask?’” another quoted.
“This looks like the movie set for scenes taking place on the front porch,” one person said.
“Looks like the owner was tired of snow and built a garage around the house,” another noted.
“This reminds me of ‘Severance,’” one person said, making a reference to the Apple TV thriller series.
“Is it supposed to be like Russian Nesting Dolls?” someone asked.
Drums is about 110 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
