Customer in wheelchair stabbed in random attack at a Taco Bell, California cops say
An 82-year-old man in a wheelchair was stabbed in a Taco Bell and police in California are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Police were called to a Taco Bell in the 12000 block of Venice Boulevard at around 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3 after getting radio calls of an “assault with a deadly weapon,” according to a statement by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect apparently attacked the man from behind as he was eating, stabbing him in the neck and shoulder, police said.
Then he fled.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the man to a local hospital where he’s in stable condition, police said.
The suspect is described as a bald, 20 to 30-year-old man, 5 feet, 1 inch to 6 inches tall, and weighing around 130 pounds. He has a large tattoo on his back and a smaller one near his left eye, police said.
