A little stowaway managed to make a dramatic entrance at the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns game on Sunday, Oct. 22, and stole the spotlight from the players on the field.

The Capital Improvement Board — a group that “oversees Lucas Oil Stadium,” Fox 59 said — released a statement congratulating the mother and her newest family member, a baby girl.

“We extend our warmest congratulations and wishes for good health to the family,” the statement read.

“We also want to express our gratitude to our partners at IU Health, they are consistently well-prepared for any medical situation at the Stadium and yesterday was no exception.”

The ticketless fan isn’t just your everyday newborn either. Fox 59 reported the baby is the niece of Browns wide receiver David Bell.

“It’s a blessing,” Bell told WLFI . “Her whole idea was to try to have the baby before the game, but you know it’s all in God’s time. So, now I have a new niece. So, hopefully I get to see her when I come back to the city.”

The birth wasn’t the emotional happening running rabid through the Lucas Oil Stadium: a controversial illegal contact penalty on a play near the end of the 4th allowed the Browns to walk away with a narrow 39-38 win.

The play occurred when E.J. Speed sacked Browns quarterback P.J. Walker, and the Colts supposedly recovered the ball. However, Colts cornerback Darrell Baker was flagged for contact with Cleveland’s Amari Cooper and officials ruled in favor of the Browns, overturning the turnover.

Indianapolis, who is 3rd in the AFC South, face off against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 29.
