A property that’s paradise on earth has landed on the real estate market on San Juan Island in Washington for $7.495 million.

The estate not only delivers stunning water views but a plethora of high-end features as well.

“Stretched over more than 15 acres along 850 feet of waterfront, is a spectacular one level sanctuary which literally floats over rock formations,” the listing on The Agency describes.

The property consists of multiple structures, spanning 10,000-square-feet of excellence, per the listing. Amenities of the main house include:

  • Grand foyer

  • Office

  • Library

  • Art gallery

  • Media room

There’s also a one-bedroom apartment, a wellness studio and a two-bed guest house.

“This retreat’s prime location offers easy access from Seattle and Vancouver BC, you can arrive via a 40-minute seaplane flight from Seattle, fly by private jet to Friday Harbor Airport, ferry into Friday Harbor, or dock a yacht at one of the island’s multiple marinas,” the listing notes.

The home was a collaborative passion project between the original owners, Edgar and Pauline Stern and architect David Finholm. The finished product is a “spectacular one level residence which literally floats over rock formations stabilized by a foundation of reinforced concrete pilings embedded in rock,” a news release said.

The listing is held by Jen Cameron of The Agency Seattle.
