Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most famous architects to ever grace the housing market — if not the most famous. While Wright didn’t build this particular compound that’s listed for $8.5 million in Spicewood, Texas, he had a strong influence in molding the architect who did.

John Covert Watson studied under Wright in the 1950s, something that “changed” his life, the architect noted according to Creede Fitch.com. Watson’s work is known throughout Austin, including the famous Mushroom House and Grotto Dome.
