Wendy’s boosts breakfast menu with new item. What is it and when can you get it?
Wendy’s is adding a new burrito to its breakfast lineup.
The new sausage breakfast burrito arrived on menus May 20 at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide, according to the Ohio-based burger chain.
Touted as a “fully loaded morning meal,” the new offering features a grilled sausage patty, eggs and seasoned potatoes topped with American cheese and cheese sauce, a product description reads.
“All these ingredients are wrapped in a tortilla and served with two Cholula Original Hot Sauce Packets on the side for customers looking for an added spicy kick,” Wendy’s said.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
It’s just the latest item to join Wendy’s breakfast offerings. Earlier this year, the fast-food chain debuted its bacon breakfast burrito and later added a sweet Cinnabon pull-apart.
Wendy’s has also launched a $3 breakfast combo that comes with customers’ choice of a bacon, egg and cheese or sausage, egg and cheese English muffin and a side of seasoned potatoes, according to the release.
Customers can order the English muffin deal and sausage breakfast burrito during breakfast hours.
