A day care worker’s husband was arrested after he was accused of sexually abusing three children, California officials said.

Antonio Chavez, 65, is accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl at the Chavez Family Daycare in Riverside, according to a July 10 Facebook post by Riverside police.

Officers learned Chavez sexually abused two other kids while they attended the daycare within the last three years, police said.

Chavez was arrested on July 3 and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on a charge of lewd and lascivious acts upon a child, police said.

He is being held on $1 million bail, officials said.

McClatchy News reached out to Riverside police on July 10 for more information and was awaiting a response.

Police said there might be more victims and ask anyone with information to call 951-353-7945.

Riverside is about a 60-mile drive east of downtown Los Angeles.
