A Florida lottery player won a six-figure prize — but might not know it yet.

The player bought a Fantasy 5 game ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the drawing late Wednesday, Aug. 7, results show.

The winning numbers: 6-8-10-20-30.

The tickets for the Fantasy 5 game start at $1. The winner’s ticket — worth $118,266.55 — was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, the Florida Lottery wrote on its website and in a news release.

The Florida Lottery gives winners about six months to cash in on their prizes in drawing games. As of Aug. 8, the $118,000 prize remained unclaimed, according to the lottery’s website.

The prize comes after a 7-Eleven shopper in another part of the state was even luckier. In February, a lottery player in Port St. Lucie bought a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million, McClatchy News reported.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
