Gas station worker took 300 videos up skirts of kids and other shoppers, Florida cops say
A 23-year-old convenience store worker was arrested after being accused of taking videos up the skirts of hundreds of shoppers, Florida officials said.
On Aug. 31, when Christopher Kilpatrick was working at Circle K in Davenport, a woman reported that she was using self-checkout when she “felt a poke on her lower back,” according to an Sept. 12 Instagram post by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
When she turned around, she saw Kilpatrick walking away and said she thought he tried to take a photo up her skirt, deputies said.
When deputies reviewed the security cameras, they saw Kilpatrick had exposed himself before poking the woman, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies later learned Kilpatrick had also done this to another woman, the sheriff’s office said. He was also seen taking videos and photos up the skirt of two women on the same day, according to deputies.
The two women haven’t been identified, the sheriff’s office said.
Kilpatrick told officers he had done the same thing to 300 to 400 people, including kids, the sheriff’s office said.
Circle K did not immediately respond to McClatchy News’ request for comment on Sept. 17.
Deputies said Circle K provided them with Kilpatrick’s work schedule and security footage dating back to mid-August, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said he is no longer employed at the store.
Kilpatrick, of Clermont, was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail, deputies said.
He is facing charges of exposure of sexual organs and simple battery, the sheriff’s office said.
The investigation remains ongoing, and deputies said anyone with information is asked to call 863-298-6200.
Davenport is about a 60-mile drive northeast of Tampa.
