A lucky poker player won millions at a Las Vegas casino.

The Las Vegas local sat at a Pai Gow poker table at the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa, the casino said in a Jan. 19 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The player then ended up with a seven-card straight flush.

A straight flush is one of the rarest hands in the game, after a royal flush, according to Upswing Poker.

It happens when a player gets seven cards in sequential order and in the same suit.

This lucky gambler had an 8, 9, 10, jack, queen, king and a joker.

These winning cards scored the player $526,283.

The poker player also won an additional $5,000 from a bonus bet, the casino said.

South Point Hotel Casino & Spa is a less than 10-mile drive south from the Las Vegas Strip.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
