The Applebee’s Date Night Pass is back in time for Valentine’s Day, though a few things are different this year.

The $100 pass is now exclusive to Club Applebee’s members, offering up to $50 in food and non-alcoholic drinks per month for a year, the restaurant said in a news release.

Members will have the chance to purchase one of 3,000 available passes through a random drawing Friday, Feb. 14, according to Applebee’s. The restaurant said selected members will be notified by email.

A limited number of the exclusive passes were offered last year — and sold out almost instantly, USA Today reported. An Applebee’s spokesperson said “excitement and demand from guests ... far surpassed our expectations,” leaving some customers shut out altogether, according to the outlet.

This year, those hoping to purchase a date night pass must be a rewards member and register for the drawing by Feb. 12, the restaurant said in a news release.

The passes are valid for 12 visits between March 1, 2025, and Feb. 28, 2026, and can only be used once per month, according to Applebee’s. Customers must show the pass when ordering in-restaurant, or use the 10-character code if placing a to-go order online.

Orders made through third-party delivery sites are excluded, the restaurant said.

The Applebee’s date night pass has other limitations:

  • No rollover if single use is under $50
  • Tax, gratuity, alcohol, retail, gift cards and fees are excluded

  • Can’t be combined with other offers
  • Purchases are limited to one per household
  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen
