McDonald’s is bringing back a fan-favorite McFlurry — but it won’t stick around.

Customers can get their first spoonfuls of the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry starting Monday, Feb. 10, the fast-food giant announced last week.

The seasonal dessert, known for its bright green hue, is made with vanilla soft serve blended with minty Shamrock shake syrup and Oreo cookie pieces, according to the McDonald’s website.

It joins the original Shamrock Shake, which was introduced at select McDonald’s restaurants in 1970. Hal Rosen, a McDonald’s owner and operator in Connecticut, created the dessert three years earlier to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the restaurant said.

“Shamrock season only rolls around once a year, so be sure to head to your local McDonald’s to grab your favorite dessert while supplies last,” McDonald’s said.

Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.

The chocolate-mint mashup is seeing a sweet resurgence. In January, rival Wendy’s teased a new Frosty dessert inspired by Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookies, McClatchy News reported.
