Mail delivery driver found fatally pinned between car and garage, Utah officials say
A 54-year-old mail delivery driver died after being pinned by a car, Utah officials said.
On Feb. 10, a witness found Amy Tennant unconscious and pinned between her car and a residential garage in Ogden Valley, Weber County deputies told Gephardt Daily.
The person was able to move the car and called deputies for help, who initially responded to reports of a cardiac arrest, officers told ABC 4 Utah.
“The Investigation into this case has revealed no evidence of foul play,” the sheriff’s office said, according to ABC 4. “It appears the driver being pinned by the vehicle was the result of an accident, and not due to the actions of any other person.”
Deputies performed life-saving measures, but Tennant eventually died at the hospital the next day, officials told KSL.
Ogden Valley is about a 50-mile drive north of Salt Lake City.
