A 22-year-old was snowmobiling with her dad when she accelerated at a sharp corner and crashed in New Hampshire, officials said.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 in Milton, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Law Enforcement Division.

The woman was headed to Wakefield with her dad, wildlife officers said.

As she reached a left turn, she hit the throttle instead, which sent her into a patch of trees, officials said.

Her dad called 911 and took her on a snowmobile to a waiting ambulance.

She was then taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Milton is about a 10-mile drive south from Wakefield.
