Gambler from CA plays slot machine for 15 minutes — then wins jackpot in Vegas

A gambler from California sat at a slot machine for 15 minutes, then won a life-changing prize in Las Vegas.

The lucky visitor from Stockton sat at a “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine Aug. 22 at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the casino said in a news release.

She put $100 into the machine and started playing, watching as the symbols flashed across the screen.

After about 15 minutes, she made a $5 bet, hit spin and a jackpot message appeared.

She won $1,008,054.30.

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is just east of the Las Vegas Strip.
