Gambler hits life-changing jackpot on 10-cent slot machine, California casino says

A bet on a 10-cent slot machine at Red Hawk Casino in Northern California paid off big for one gambler, casino officials reported.

The player hit the $102,517 jackpot on a Moon Race Moon Race Lightning Link slot machine, the casino said in a Thursday, Nov. 6, news release.

The casino did not reveal the exact amount of the bet.

The winner is a Sacramento resident and member of the casino’s Rewards Club.

“We’re thrilled to see our regulars hitting it big,” the casino said in the release.

“Exciting!! Congratulations!!! Hoping I hit it big someday!” read one comment on the post.

Red Hawk Casino is located in Placerville, which is about a 45-mile drive northeast from Sacramento.
