Trump appoints ally and FHFA chief Pulte as acting US intelligence director

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he was appointing Federal Housing Finance Agency chief Bill Pulte as acting director of national intelligence.

"During this period, he will remain Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac," he said in a Truth Social post.
