Take a look back at some memorable images from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, who became Queen of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth realms in 1952 when she was 25 years old.
During that time, she met every U.S. president since Dwight Eisenhower, with the exception of Lyndon Baines Johnson.
Queen Elizabeth ll died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at age 96. She was queen for 70 years.
Her son Charles becomes King Charles lll.
