To help voters learn which candidates are on their ballot and where they stand on important policy issues, The News & Observer is publishing candidate questionnaires in all state and federal races in North Carolina on the March 3, 2026, ballot.

The primary election is Tuesday, March 3. Early voting started Feb. 12.
Below you’ll find links to questionnaires providing information on the candidates and their responses to our questions. We contacted all candidates in contested primary races. As of Feb. 11, at least 125 candidates had responded. We’ve started to publish their responses online. Check back here as we add more.
