Donald Trump will bring his presidential campaign to Raleigh on Friday night.
He is scheduled to hold a rally of supporters at Dorton Arena on the State Fairgrounds. The event is free. Those attending are asked to arrive early to ensure seating. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Trump is scheduled to speak at 7:30 p.m.
Trump, who leads in the polls for the GOP nomination, has been drawing large crowds across the country. Capacity at the arena is between 5,000 and 7,600, depending on whether portable seats are set up.
Trump was in Raleigh in June for the state Republican Party convention, where he dropped big hints that he would soon announce his candidacy. He did later that month.
