The stolen bust of Orville Wright has been returned to its rightful place on North Carolina’s Outer Banks.

The reproduction bust was stolen from the Wright Brothers memorial in Kill Devil Hills in October and was found a few days later tucked in the dunes on a nearby beach, The News & Observer reported.

When it was stolen, its granite base was knocked over and damaged, according to the National Park Service.

Now both the base and the bust have been repaired and the bust was placed back at the foot of the monument on Friday, the park service says on Facebook.

“Orville has returned,” the post said.

The busts are reproductions of the originals, which are now safely stored away from the public. They were stolen in the 1980s but later found, OBX Today reports.
