One lane in each direction will be closed on Interstate 95 at the Brogden Road bridge Thursday so engineers can inspect the structure after a truck hauling a wide load hit it Wednesday evening, the state Department of Transportation said.
State troopers in Johnston County said the truck hit the bridge with its over-height load about 6 p.m.
DOT said the lanes would be shut down from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
