These Triangle schools are closed or delayed on Friday due to snow and ice on roads

After a snowstorm swept through the Triangle and other parts of North Carolina earlier this week, schools have been forced to decide whether to close or open on a delay.

Here’s the latest:

List of Triangle school closings and delays for Friday, Jan. 24

Wake County schools will open on a two-hour delay. Buses will pick up students two hours later than usual in the morning.

Durham Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.

Johnston County schools will be closed due to “hazardous road conditions and campus conditions.”

Chatham County schools will operate on a two-hour delay.

Harnett County schools will open on a two-hour delay.
