UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm warning for North Carolina forecast to expire at 5 p.m.

The warning had been issued for Johnston, Nash and Wilson counties.
"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds up to 45 mph are still possible with this thunderstorm," according to the NWS Raleigh NC.
The warning is in effect until 5 p.m.
