"The Flood Advisory will expire at 8:15 p.m. this evening for a portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following area, Watauga. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," adds the NWS Blacksburg VA.
