Heat advisory in place for Union County until Saturday evening

On Saturday at 2:19 a.m. the NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a heat advisory valid between noon and 8 p.m. for Union County.
The NWS informs, "Heat index values up to 107 degrees expected."
"Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses," adds the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until 8 p.m.
