Paula A. Wolf: Serious chutzpah

Regarding the Sept. 4 news article “More early voting would ‘waste tax dollars,’ Wake County GOP says”: If it weren’t so stunningly hypocritical and ridiculously galling, it might be fodder for “The Daily Show.” The NC GOP has already wasted over $9 million of taxpayer money to defend its systematic, unconstitutional discrimination against African-Americans, Hispanics, voters, women, teachers and the LGBTQ community. And now it has the unrelenting chutzpah to proffer the notion that restoring early voting days and sites will cost the taxpayer too much money??!! C’mon.
