Marvin Woll: A great effort

Thank you for your article “Raleigh restaurant will offer job training for homeless women.” It is wonderful to see that there are people who really care about the plight of homeless women. Even better these women will be paid $9 to $12 an hour, which is more than the paltry $7.25 that is the current N.C. minimum wage. If more people would help the homeless by offering them jobs and training, we could begin to reduce the amount of homelessness in N.C.

Let’s hope that the residents of Raleigh will help support this effort by dining at Carroll’s Kitchen on Martin Street. Not only will they get a good meal, but they will be helping these homeless women.
