Sandra Sexton: Be thankful

Regarding the Dec. 3 letter “ Traditions trumped”: I’m sorry the writer had to work through Thanksgiving and Black Friday. He said he was a part-time employee, but at least he has a job and can make extra monies. Many people out there have no job to support their families.

I worked in the hospital 24/7. Holidays were really just another day. Also law enforcement works 24/7 to maintain law and order. So he does have something to be thankful for.
