Mark Kinlaw: A matter of rights
Regarding the Sept. 28 news article “UNC-Chapel Hill football player denies sexual assault”: The sexual assault accusations between a student and football player at UNC are a sad story. Many of us partied too hard in college sometimes (or elsewhere) and understand this is a very gray area. I’m not taking sides and have no opinion of guilt or innocence. Right now it’s she said-he said, and I have no reason to doubt either of them. But let’s not forget there are two people with rights that need protection.
