Marvin Maddox: Boring candidates full of selves

I watched the Hillary Clinton-Donald Trump debate. A wise person advised me that I should vote for the candidate with whom I would prefer to spend an hour chatting and drinking my favorite beverage.

Let’s see: Donald would spend the hour telling me how rich and wonderful he is, and that could be boring. Hillary would outline her 10-point plan for improving service in this restaurant, and that could be boring. So I’m confused.

Maybe there are some other criteria I should use?
