Evans Waddell: Protesters shouldn’t represent ECU

Regarding East Carolina band members “taking a knee”: Every resident has the right to express themselves, however, those band members were not just expressing themselves, they were representing ECU. Take off the band uniform and express themselves to their heart’s content. That they got to “express yourself” with media coverage surely was not part of the thought process.
