John Holtz: McCrory, Burr fail in supporting Trump
During the recent debates Gov. Pat McCrory has called Donald Trump a “role model.” Really?
Was it the disparaging talks about Mexicans, war heroes, women, Muslims? Inciting violence at his rallies or being sued for fraud with Trump University? Was it using Trump Foundation as his own personal slush fund or encouraging Russia to hack a democratic institution?
Apparently describing sexually assaulting women and then having almost a dozen women come forward is not enough for McCrory or Sen. Richard Burr to retract their endorsement.
But if they even did it now, it would be too late because they built this Frankenstein and now they and all the other Republicans own it.
